Our Purpose Rooted in Faith
While Many Hopes is not a faith-based organization nor legally affiliated with a religion, all we do is faith-motivated. This spirit drives our actions and decisions, but our doors are open to all children, regardless of their faith. Our faith-related activities, including devotions and church services at our partner sites, are voluntary, emphasizing our commitment to inclusivity and respect for individual beliefs.
Demonstrating Unconditional Love
At the heart of Many Hopes is a desire for every child to feel loved and valued. This ambition is actualized through our dedication to supporting children who have faced significant challenges, offering them a chance to inquire about the love they receive from us. Our founder often says he wants the same for every child as for everyone in America - to know Jesus. We do that by showing consistent love to children who have previously only experienced the worst that humans can do to other humans. And when they inevitably say, "Why are you so nice to me?" we get to say, "We love you because we were loved first." It’s a dialogue that unfolds naturally, without expecting the children to embrace our beliefs, ensuring a nurturing environment that respects each child’s journey and choices.
Faith Practices: Invitational and Respectful
While our charity is faith-motivated, we recognize the importance of choice in matters of faith. Participation in any religious activities we offer is up to the individual, aligning with our ethos of loving in such a way that invites curiosity about the Gospel. We hope to attract individuals from diverse backgrounds, inspired by the genuine care and compassion we exhibit, and perhaps spark an interest in exploring faith further, all within a framework of voluntary engagement.
